Travis PacoeTRAVIS PACOE

Travis Pacoe has been continuously involved in real estate since 1990 and has both brokered and invested in nearly every property type, including apartment projects, retail and industrial real estate. Travis is responsible for origination of potential transactions; negotiation of transaction terms; marketing oversight; and due diligence oversight.

Travis’ completed transactions total in excess of $900 million, including properties valued in excess of $350 million that he has acquired as an investor and general partner through various partnerships he has formed. He has been an active principal in the acquisition of multifamily and commercial real estate since 1994 and as an owner has extensive experience in the management of multifamily and commercial properties.

Travis brings his extensive history as a principal investor to bear in completing every property purchase, including extensive transaction management experience, negotiation of relevant documentation and effective navigation through all due diligence matters; accurate valuation of many property types in numerous regions or submarkets; and origination and structuring of a wide variety of financing instruments.

Travis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a dual emphasis in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and Finance from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, CA, class of 1991.

Ron AbtaRON ABTA

Ron Abta has over 15 years of residential real estate experience, having completed in excess of $1B in transactions as both a broker and investor. He brings multifamily management and remodeling experience to the team, having actively overseen the maintenance, renovation, and financing of multi-unit apartment units and residential properties throughout his career. Ron is responsible for investor relations, marketing oversight, and general transaction management for acquisitions and financing.

He has been involved in the structuring and management of numerous real estate general partnerships. He has also been involved in almost every type of residential purchase over his career, whether it be multifamily assets, tenancy-in-common interests, or single family dwellings. He brings a wide breadth of experience to the team as both an investor, as well as operator of multifamily properties. He has consistently managed to completion a very high number of transactions annually for many years.

He has intimate knowledge of the financing side of real estate transactions, having worked as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley and as a product manager at iOwn.com, one of the first internet mortgage brokers (acquired by CitiMortgage). He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business Administration at University of California Berkeley in Berkeley, CA, class of 1993, as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Stanford, CA, class of 1999.

Amita PatelAMITA PATEL

Amita is Chief Operating Officer and oversees Polaris Real Estate Partners’ asset management services, acquisitions and investment matters. Mrs. Patel brings 5 years of real estate transactional experience overseeing in excess of $400 million in transactions. She is responsible for communication between our offsite management companies and general oversight of capital improvements for the company’s multifamily assets. Amita is directly involved with the transaction management requirements related to the purchase of new assets.

Prior to joining Polaris Real Estate Partners, Amita was the primary transaction manager with Bridge Properties, where she oversaw transaction management related to residential real estate purchases. In this capacity, she was the liaison between real estate agents, clients, and escrow companies.

Amita has a J.D. from San Francisco Law School, San Francisco, CA, a Certificate in Mediation from San Francisco Law School, San Francisco, CA and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Francisco State University, San Francisco, CA.

NATHALIA RODRIGUEZ

Nathalia Rodriguez is the Legal Assistant for Polaris Real Estate Partners. Ms. Rodriguez assists the Managing Partners and Executive officers of Polaris. Nathalia has a key role in the preparation and distribution of correspondence for investments for new and upcoming acquisitions and assets upon purchase. She is also in charge of various administrative tasks, including: phone support, calendar and scheduling, meeting coordination, and expense reporting.

Prior to joining Polaris, Ms. Rodriguez worked as a legal assistant to criminal defense and civil litigation firms in Santa Barbara, CA. Ms. Rodriguez helped attorneys to prepare for court proceedings by organizing and preparing case documents and maintaining communication with numerous clients. In addition to case assistance, Ms. Rodriguez also has experience in research by assisting professors at UCSB in collecting, organizing, and archiving data for the American Presidency project.

Nathalia has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and has plans to attend law school to receive her J.D.

CHI NGUYEN

Chi is our Marketing Coordinator who is responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy on market outreach. Chi helps make sure that our potential customers are increasingly more aware of the Polaris brand and all of its properties on the market. Chi has great project management skills and consistently deliver high quality results on schedule. She also works as our in-house Photographer and Graphics Designer to create original designs and templates for our property websites and marketing brochures.

Chi was originally from Vietnam. She has studied and worked in 3 different countries over the past few years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Global Marketing from University of Huddersfield, UK in 2013. And in 2015, she graduated from Hult University, San Francisco with a master’s degree in International Marketing. She speaks Vietnamese and English.

ANYA VOLCHKOV

Anna is Community Coordinator at Polaris Real Estate Partners. Anya develops and manages Polaris’ community enrichment programs, networking with organizations local to each of our properties and driving quality of life initiatives throughout our portfolio. Prior to joining Polaris Real Estate Partners, Anna worked for the Dallas City Plan Commissioner. In that capacity she was assistant manager of hospitality services organization and took part in many community development projects throughout the Dallas community. She has an extensive experience working with diverse communities. She leverages her expansive skillset and knowledge of activities development to create a better sense of belonging and support for the members of each Polaris community.

Anna has a Graduate Degree in International Studies with concentration in European and American Cultures from Dedman College of Humanities and Sciences/ Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sustainability and Development from Lyle School of Engineering/ Southern Methodist University.

Prior coming to the US, Anna served two years in the Israeli Defense Force at the Air Force division. During her service, Anna served as an integral part in maintaining healthy lifestyles for the active duty soldiers. During her military service, Anna received an elite athlete rank that allowed her to continue her athletic career as a swimmer within the international arena. Anna represented Israel on multiple stages, including the European and World Championships. While involved in these competitions, she set national and individual records. These achievements represent her goal-oriented mentality as well as a dedication and passion for taking on challenges in both her personal and professional life.

MELISSA LUCCHESE

Melissa Lucchese has been involved in multi-family real estate since 2000 and has both on-site managed and asset managed many property types. Melissa brings to Polaris 18 years of property management experience and has excelled in leadership, financial management and operations management. She has been involved with properties in various stages, including acquisition, redevelopment and stabilization. Her previous portfolio of properties was valued in excess of $540 million and located in Northern California. She also managed a portfolio of 20 properties in California and Washington State for a privately held, Walnut Creek, CA based firm. Melissa developed her management and leadership skills prior to that with Sequoia Equities, Inc., a property management firm that owns and manages 51 properties throughout California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada. Her experience in managing assets of varying types translates to support Polaris’ growth in any market. Melissa has a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing, participates yearly as Team Captain for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night East Bay and resides in Northern California.

MICHAEL KOVAC

As an analyst for Polaris, Michael is responsible for the origination and financial underwriting of new opportunities as well as asset valuation and market trend analysis. Influenced by a family of professional real estate investors, growing up he assisted in the day to day management of his family’s properties and learned about the complexities of property sales and ownership. Michael leverages his experience as an owner personally to effectively originate and evaluate potential investments for Polaris. Michael also worked with a leading Connecticut real estate broker where he was ranked in the top 1% of multifamily real estate sales statewide, year over year. Michael holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics from the University of Connecticut with a minor in Business Administration.
